Adam Knight joined our firm in 2010 and his practice focuses on real estate and consumer protection litigation. Adam has experience representing lenders and consumers in real estate transactions and litigating claims based on breach of purchase contracts, fraudulent real estate transactions, and foreclosures. Adam also represents clients on appeal, including the successful appeal of Palacio v. Alaska Seaboard Partners Limited Partnership, 50 So. 3d 54 (Fla. 1st DCA 2010).

In addition to his real estate practice, Adam gained experience litigating consumer claims while clerking for a boutique consumer litigation firm in Atlanta, Georgia and continues representing consumers in cases involving claims under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and state consumer protection laws.

Adam earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Georgia and graduated cum laude from the Georgia State University College of Law. While attending Georgia State University, Adam was a member of the Georgia State University Law review and served as the Law Review’s Lead Articles Editor.

Adam is admitted to all Florida courts, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He is also a member of the Florida Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the National Association of Consumer Advocates, and the American Bar Association.
